Word of the Day: Petrichor.
Or the scent of rain on dry earth or as they say in hindi
"pahli baarish ke baad mitti ki bhini bhini sugandh"
Also, where does fruit punch come from ? found via sepiamutiny

Came across that word about two years ago. Made me wonder how chemical the English word was and how beautiful the Hindi 'saundhi' was!

thanks for remindin me the hindi word :), I could only remember bhini bhini..and yeh, saundhi seems nicer than petrichor.
