:)
It is like the touch of the sun
during the winter month.
Warm, peaceful, it seeps in quietly
lighting up the darkness behind the eyes
only if, momentarily.

the bells
I step into the river of breeze on the terrace.
Some bells tinker in the distance,
moonlit white, it's a quiet night otherwise.
Them stars afar, tinker silently
reminding who is the passerby.
Immovable, their light is ageless
millions have gone, and millions will come by
it's humbling
it's wonderful, this night sky
wind chimes tinker nearby

Immovable, their light is ageless
millions have gone, and millions will come by

it's wonderful, this night sky
wind chimes tinker nearby
the house
they came one by one
and they left
now this is a house full
of memories
and the corners of cobwebs
once in a while
when fresh air flows by
them corners reveal
the past gone by
such is the circle of life
what came has to go
what goes
never comes by
and they left
now this is a house full
of memories
and the corners of cobwebs
once in a while
when fresh air flows by

and so it is
this year, the summer seems early
warm winds flow now
the throat feels dry
it's a mountain climb
the day's friendly
and a blue arched sky
where I came from
where I will be
those thoughts disppear
it's a story for another try
but this noon I am here
and so it is
for this noon, this day
this night sky
warm winds flow now
the throat feels dry
it's a mountain climb
the day's friendly
and a blue arched sky
where I came from
where I will be
those thoughts disppear
it's a story for another try
but this noon I am here
and so it is
for this noon, this day
this night sky

Fatigue
the days have been tough
o starry night
the song of the river is forgotten
in this madness of a life
the days have been rough
o starry night
there hasn't been a respite
so merciless, this war
for what do we live
for what do we fight
you owe an answer
o starry night
o starry night
the song of the river is forgotten
in this madness of a life
the days have been rough
o starry night
there hasn't been a respite
so merciless, this war
for what do we live
for what do we fight
you owe an answer
o starry night

remember that part
one day
it maybe so
bitterness will cloud your heart
some laugh will hurt
pierce deep will a re mark
a story, will make you start
them faces will turn colors
the heart will be frost
it will feel lost
that day
remember them heart
that which touched a corner
or stirred some part
I remind myself
the stillness of that lake
the lush green grass
that mountain's gaze
that rushing creek and the children's play
the wonder of that child
seeking a friendly part
- time pass
it maybe so
bitterness will cloud your heart
some laugh will hurt
pierce deep will a re mark
a story, will make you start
them faces will turn colors
the heart will be frost
it will feel lost

walk to the sea
we stared at the vacancy
my heart and I
what good it be
I said to me
a long walk to the sea
O the gutsy waves!
hear their rush
they will hit the shore
and once more
and once more
my heart and I
what good it be
I said to me
a long walk to the sea
O the gutsy waves!
hear their rush
they will hit the shore
and once more
and once more

The Land Spoke
Who heard her
we do not know
but thus spoke the land
when life lay low
"torn apart by this endless war
I bring myself to your altar!
my words have no power
my voice is faint
but arms are flail
did you see my heart
or did you hear my wail?"
we do not know
but thus spoke the land
when life lay low
"torn apart by this endless war
I bring myself to your altar!
my words have no power
my voice is faint
but arms are flail
did you see my heart
or did you hear my wail?"

The captain's call
the ship was a sinkin
and the horizon wasn't avail
thus given the sail
the captain climbed aloft and uttered
"my crew!
we may perish, flounder, or prevail
but let it not be said
that mighty wasn't our heart
you may be thinkin
the ship's sinking
what use is this
I say to you my fellows
with whom I have seen grief and joy
let a moment not be passing by
for we cannot die
until we are alive
so take hold of your posts
man the wheel,
and steady the sail!"
and the horizon wasn't avail
thus given the sail
the captain climbed aloft and uttered
"my crew!
we may perish, flounder, or prevail
but let it not be said
that mighty wasn't our heart
you may be thinkin

Hear me Wanderer
restless in heart
I do my part
the shoulders are heavy
and the head runs low
I dove deep
now I don't know how
to go back high
O wanderer,
speak thy heart
for the world is forlorn
when love runs dry
Are stars your language
or the night sky?
O wanderer
speak thy heart
for lines are deep
on the faces of passers by
(Searched all his life
the bard
with all his might
to find the solace
of the wanderers light)
Are words your wisdom
or the mountain high
O wanderer
speak thy part
for there's no comfort
in the homeless heart
I do my part
the shoulders are heavy
and the head runs low
I dove deep
now I don't know how
to go back high
O wanderer,
speak thy heart
for the world is forlorn
when love runs dry
Are stars your language

with all his might
to find the solace
of the wanderers light)
Are words your wisdom
or the mountain high
O wanderer
speak thy part
for there's no comfort
in the homeless heart
aimless heart
aimless heart
the streets I wandered
I followed the faces
of passer bys
the roads I turned
the time I squandered
aimless heart
I wondered why
they were there
and here was I
the streets I wandered
I followed the faces
of passer bys
the roads I turned
the time I squandered
aimless heart
I wondered why
they were there
and here was I

chaah
faiz ki chaukhat par
raat ki sigdi yun jale
yaadon ke mehfil jame
armaanon ki baat chale
raat kalikh gahraye
aangaron ki aanch badhe
faiz gaaye, taan lagaye
man ki saanch rah jaye
baki sab beh jaye
