one day
it maybe so
bitterness will cloud your heart
some laugh will hurt
pierce deep will a re mark
a story, will make you start
them faces will turn colors
the heart will be frost
it will feel lost
that day
remember them heart
that which touched a corner
or stirred some part
I remind myself
the stillness of that lake
the lush green grass
that mountain's gaze
that rushing creek and the children's play
the wonder of that child
seeking a friendly part
- time pass

walk to the sea
we stared at the vacancy
my heart and I
what good it be
I said to me
a long walk to the sea
O the gutsy waves!
hear their rush
they will hit the shore
and once more
and once more
my heart and I
what good it be
I said to me
a long walk to the sea
O the gutsy waves!
hear their rush
they will hit the shore
and once more
and once more

The Land Spoke
Who heard her
we do not know
but thus spoke the land
when life lay low
"torn apart by this endless war
I bring myself to your altar!
my words have no power
my voice is faint
but arms are flail
did you see my heart
or did you hear my wail?"
we do not know
but thus spoke the land
when life lay low
"torn apart by this endless war
I bring myself to your altar!
my words have no power
my voice is faint
but arms are flail
did you see my heart
or did you hear my wail?"

The captain's call
the ship was a sinkin
and the horizon wasn't avail
thus given the sail
the captain climbed aloft and uttered
"my crew!
we may perish, flounder, or prevail
but let it not be said
that mighty wasn't our heart
you may be thinkin
the ship's sinking
what use is this
I say to you my fellows
with whom I have seen grief and joy
let a moment not be passing by
for we cannot die
until we are alive
so take hold of your posts
man the wheel,
and steady the sail!"
and the horizon wasn't avail
thus given the sail
the captain climbed aloft and uttered
"my crew!
we may perish, flounder, or prevail
but let it not be said
that mighty wasn't our heart
you may be thinkin
the ship's sinking
what use is this
I say to you my fellows
with whom I have seen grief and joy
let a moment not be passing by
for we cannot die
until we are alive
so take hold of your posts
man the wheel,
and steady the sail!"
